What products should you use to clean wooden or melamine furniture?

Classic grandmother's remedies are often used to clean furniture, mixing dish detergent, lemon or vinegar together. However, these compounds have not been specifically designed for cleaning wood or melamine and their effectiveness is often uncertain. This risks having the opposite effect, leaving marks or even ruining the furniture surface.

For this reason we have thought of a tablet furniture cleaner with a cleaning action, capable of removing stains and dust, but that doesn't risk ruining the surfaces of your wooden and melamine furniture. Perfect for any type of lacquered, matt, glossy wood and also on melamine, Mobiclean Detergent is made up of two tablets to be dissolved in water. A neutral furniture cleaner made with a water base is less aggressive than one with an alcohol base, ensuring the same cleaning action without risking ruining the finish of your furniture.

When cleaning wooden kitchen furniture, avoid using overly aggressive degreasers: in the long run they could ruin your furniture by dulling the finish. Again, prefer a water-based wooden furniture cleaner to remove grease and disinfect your kitchen.

Remember to always use a soft, well-wrung microfibre cloth. If the furniture surface to be cleaned with the detergent is made of wood, we suggest wiping the cloth in the same direction as the grain of the wood, while if the wood is lacquered, making circular movements is the best choice.
